Oberhasli (Core x Deadmau5) 2021

In 2021 the Core team had the opportunity to collaborate with musician Joel Zimmerman, aka Deadmau5, on a virtual world dubbed "Oberhasli" and an accompanying 10 minute interactive music video. This was a massive effort that involved the entire art team and more, and really pushed the limits of what's possible on the Core platform. My primary responsibilities were the "factory" environment with help from Evan Gaugh, Russ Cahalan, and Jordan Louie, and the "forest" with help from Anna Hegyaljai and Sasha Rassvet. I also made the "spaceport" area of Oberhasli that led to other user-contributed environments.
